Bought this rug for my living room and I may have had this rug one whole month before I started noticing the gold flaking on the rug comes off. I would not have purchased a rug that was so delicate. It's a fine looking rug but at the cost...I wouldn't expect the gold to be disappearing. What a bummer. Do not purchase if you're gonna put it in a high traffic area.
