This set is a great shade of silvery grey. The shams are a bit bigger, you will want to get thick king pillows for these if you don't already have thick pillows. I have a higher-pile red velvet quilt from Macy's that I like to have on my bed from November through the end of February for the holidays; this quilt set is great for the spring and early fall because it isn't very heavy. I could see people enjoying this set during the summer months if they are fans of velvet and sleep in a cooler bedroom. I'd buy this in a dark amethyst if they ever make it in that color. Even though I'm not usually a hexagon pattern fan, there is enough of a pattern variety that the geometric patterns are tolerable with most eras/themes of bedroom decor.

Super lush and cozy. The texture is so nice and the color is gorgeous. Not too hot for warmer months and adds a really nice visual element via the quilting.

It's a lightweight comforter that will be perfect for the Texas heat! It fits the bed great and it's beautiful! I have not washed it yet but I honestly believe it will hold up in the washer.

This is a very pretty quilt. I love that it was a true king and was plenty long enough on each side. The velvet is a nice touch and so soft. I love that it wasn't too heavy and could easily be used in all seasons in my opinion. The under side is another material which I love.

I got Free the Madison Park set 3 pieces with coverlet & 2 shams from Influenster and this is my honest review. I claimed the Gray color but I got the Golden one. But that be OK not a big deal. This is so soft, comfortable and thick enough for winter time. It fit my Queen bed. I really enjoyed it. Thankfully Influenster give me a great thing for my bedroom. This is time for change

I absolutely love my new quilt set by Madison Park. It's grey velvet California king quilt with 2 matching pillow shams. I love that it's not to thick, it's just right! I love the look and feel of this quilt! I can't wait until my sleep number bed is here so I can put it on it! I will update photos once my bed gets here!

This blanket set is amazing 😻 It feels sooooo soft and I don't sweat at night now!!! It's cooling if you're into that. My cat loves this set as well she's so picky about blankets and this one we both love! It fits my bed perfectly which is a queen btw. Superb quality and the color is just perfect too. I want them in every color!!

This is perfect for what you ask for. The comfort is amazing the fit is exact. The value is great considering it feels expensive. I feel like this will last years and super easy to just throw in the washer if it gets dirty. Only reason for low star rating is the color. I feel like this brand can do better on the colors.
