Got this for my elderly mother who has trouble getting out of regular recliners. The power lift is good and easy for her to use (only 2 buttons minimizes confusion). She's 5 foot so it's still a little high for her. Unfortunately the cushion isn't comfortable and her butt hurts after 30 minutes. We ...

Good but…
Got this for my elderly mother who has trouble getting out of regular recliners. The power lift is good and easy for her to use (only 2 buttons minimizes confusion). She's 5 foot so it's still a little high for her. Unfortunately the cushion isn't comfortable and her butt hurts after 30 minutes. We bought a seat cushion from Amazon but that just makes it even higher for her. I love the power lift and low price but wish the seat was more comfortable.

So far, this chair has been a great addition to the house. The chair overall is much narrower than a lot of the other options so it was able to fit in the room much easier than we thought a recliner would. The motor movement is smooth and there have been no complaints.

We bought this power lift chair for my mother in law. It's very comfortable and the remote is easy for seniors to work. She's also petite, this is a good sized chair for people 5'3 and under.
