Do not buy this!
I bought this 3yrs ago and just recently used it overnight to sleep in because I had ankle surgery and it randomly leaned all the way forward and dumped me on the floor. I grabbed the remote but it would not stop. Two days later it did the same thing and no one was sitting in it. Also since you can't control the back and foot rest independently you will have to put pillows under your calves/feet if you do not want to recline all the way back into a sleeping position.

The power recliner was bought because my wife, who is impaired could not manage a manual recliner. She needs this chair for medical reasons. This recliner is perfect. Not only will it recline with power but it will help her stand up also.
