I needed something for a smaller space and this seemed to be perfect for my needs, but I quickly found that the materials used and the quality of the build is not good. The back cushions do not hold shape and cause you to sag while trying to sit upright. The bottom cushions lose their shape and firmness quickly causing it to be very uncomfortable. The seams come apart everywhere, the pillows are the first to show signs of fraying before producing gaping holes. Used the warranty 2x where they repaired or replaced pillows, but the quality isn't any better with the seams coming apart on the replacements too. I don't usually write bad reviews and just move on.. this isn't a cheap couch though, and its supposed to last but it simply doesn't. If you want something that will last more than 3 years with minimal use, DO NOT BUY THIS and look elsewhere.
I was thrilled to buy this, especially on clearance. However, like the other 1stDibs reviews, the deans have unraveled on their own and the cushions go flat after about 30 minutes when sitting on the couch. This is the Anders Ivory chenille fabric, which has rightfully been been discontinued. The truth is, it is only a matter of time until this couch will end up in a landfill instead of my living room.

Do not buy this couch, I didn't read the reviews and regret it so much! This couch rips so easily from just sitting on it! All of the seams on the top cushions and pillows are fraying and ripping! The arm/side of the couch is made from cheap cardboard feeling material and broke and is flopping and unattached from couch! You can tell just by sitting/feeling that this couch is cheaply made but not cheaply priced.
This is hands down, the worst purchase that I've made from American Signature and I've been solely buying furniture from them (and Value City- all American Standard furniture) since 2005. Seams started ripping apart within a couple of months of having this. Mind you, for the first year, this couch was barely used. Even the pillows started ripping at the seams. I contacted American Signature about 6 months after purchasing because I was in disbelief that a $4k couch would look like it did with a 3 person family (no small children or pets). American Standard had their team come out and hand-sew together the cushions and pillows. The two gentlemen even took photos of the couch, stating this has been a common complaint with this particular style of couch. The hand-sewn "repair" lasted about a couple of months before the seams began ripping/tearing again, but even worse than before. I never write bad reviews but as a single parent on a budget, I feel like I've wasted $4,000.00 on a couch and urge anyone looking at buying this piece of crap to save their money! I've had the couch for 3 years now and it's current state is actually pretty embarrassing.

All of the cushions started tearing at the seams within a couple months. This is not covered under the warranty I paid extra for. The back cushions also lose their shape very easily and the seat cushions separate from each other and leave spaces between cushions making it uncomfortable to lay on. Do not buy this sectional.
The furniture has a MANUFACTURERS DEFECT!!!!!!!! SEAMS COMING APART AS SOON AS TWO MONTHS AFTER PURCHASE. DON'T BUY A WARRANTY!!!!! YOU WILL BE TOLD "NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR." BIG MONEY SPENT 4K

Bought in April of 2023 and cushions began ripping within months. Now a year later all cushions are ripped at seams and it looks terrible. Need to purchase covers for all cushions to hide the tears. Routine rotation makes no difference. Very poor quality material. Not worth the cost.
This nest is made with cheap material. I have had to place two claims. Every cushion is torn at the seams. The brackets that hold the couch together are broken also. Even the ottoman's are torn at the seams. We submitted a claim over a week ago, a technician came out to look at the sectional and haven't heard back from the warranty company.

This couch is an absolute disaster. Purchased in December 2022, and almost all of the seams and pillows have come apart. We also paid for the warranty to just have all of our claims denied because these issues are "wear and tear". It is a complete waste of money, as they will do NOTHING to rectify the situation. American Signature Furniture should be ashamed of themselves because they are knowingly convincing people to pay their hard earned money with no desire to help.
Several cushions, the ottoman, and pillows have ripped all within a year of purchasing! Haven't even finished paying it off yet…
