The storage bench is much smaller in person and poorly made. This was an online inventory item and had I seen it in person in the store I would not have purchased it. I am a long time customer and honestly surprised at the poor quality to high price ratio. I could have gotten more for the buck at a discount home store. I brought it for a gift and was slightly embarrassed by the appearance.

The design of the baskets scratch the bottom areas where they said.

The boxes, by their design, constantly scratch the wood every time you pull them in or pull them out. The bottom gets covered in brown scratches within a week. They needed to include padding to the bottom of the boxes to prevent that. Also, the cubes designed for shoes don't fit adult shoes. 1 shoe per cube. Really useless.
