For it to have a large cushion it is VERYYYY hard. No give at all. Extremely stiff.

This compliments our set nicely and I love the look. My issue with this bench is that you cannot fully slide it under the table when not in use. The legs of the table are too close together, so the bench sits farther out than I would like. It's also a very hard cushion, not as comfortable as you would hope.
