I couldn't wait to get this table set. It is very sturdy and extremely heavy. The top of the table finish is an atrocity to furniture making. I can confirm as others stated. The top chips, turns white from heat even when using a protector to keep from direct heat. The white marks do not go away. How does a table chip up and lose finish when placemats and protective measures are taken? I cannot believe I paid so much money for this. The benches are strong. I am a large woman and they hold me with no issues. However; even plain water if accidentally spilled on the fabric top will stain them. Sigh…This blatant rip off is so bad.

This is a 5 year review! We get soooo many compliments on this table every time someone comes to our home. We have family visiting this weekend for the holidays and again the main thing people mention is this table, my brother in law said he wanted to buy it from us so I decided to look on this website to see if it was still available and it is! We chose the square top country style chairs shown in one of the pictures and not the round top style that is available now. We had thick glass cut to fit the top of the table to protect it and it works perfect. We have 6 chairs and no bench and everything has held up even after tons of use and guests and I would not change a single thing. This table and chairs are worth every penny if not more, it looks extremely luxe and makes our space look expensive and modern. the cloth cushions look brand new even after a teenage boy and two cats. The leaf is an added bonus but we have not needed to use it yet since the table is very large. The quality is amazing for the price and we use every inch of the storage and let me tell you it is the perfect table and literally looks brand new! I would purchase it over and over, it is just gorgeous and very well made. I absolutely love this table.

We are a family of four and 3 of us are at least 6'. This dining set is very comfortable for us. It's the perfect height, very sturdy and it looks great!! I feel like this set will last us long a time.

Looks nice for a few days you have it. It scratches easily. I bought this table thinking I would get a decent use out of it. It's a beautiful look but doesn't last. This is a 6 month review. The finish breaks down chips easily and not sturdy. Chairs are wobbly and the wood spindle just cracked and popped off. DONT BUY!!

This is a nice looking dinning set ,but the quality is cheap is scratches very easily and the chairs are not sturdy at all the only good thing about the set is the Island overpriced for the quality.

This is the piece of furniture thy gets the most attention. So sturdy and well made! Stunning and the chairs And bench are very comfortable as well, seem to be stain protected. Recommend changing the tops of the chairs from white to oak. The floor model in the store was all white chairs and the salesman suggested it, and it made a big difference.

Everything about this was bad... all the crack, bubbles, almost looked like it wasn't even put together right. The table was all wobbly.. not happy
