I have had this fridge for not quite year. It is not the one I picked out because the contractor had the wrong specs for the cabinet but it is the one I ended up with. I cook a lot and entertain a lot, so the fridge it always pretty packed. I am a little disappointed with how the drawer shelf droops...

I've owned this refrigerator for roughly about a month and have to say that this is the cheapest feeling, flimsiest refrigerator I've ever seen or had. Everything feels extremely cheap, from the fruit/vegetable drawers to door shelves, as if it will break in your hand! For the hefty price tag this fridge has I'd expect much, MUCH better quality! Too bad LG still has compressor issues otherwise would have purchased from them.

We had limited options because of narrow space available, and this model fit into the space. We wish there was an option with a flat front instead of the slightly curved/bowed doors. One complaint we have is that the interior water dispenser button is above the spout, which forces you to use two hands to fill a glass; if the button was below the spout you could fill using one hand, which would be more convenient. We would have appreciated a user manual to explain the intended or best way to use the different drawers in the refrigerated section. Otherwise, the refrigerator works fine and we are happy with it...

I bought this a month ago. The water dispenser doesn't work, but the ice maker does. The authorized repair service hasn't figured that out yet. The drawers are cheap and clunky for something this expensive. The settings are confusing, and the documentation can't be found. Otherwise, good flexible storage space. Quiet. Good looking cabinet. The doors have a nice profile for placing near a wall (3" needed)

Of course you wouldn't publish an honest review! Change your warranty policies and I'll change my honest review. You make a fortune off of people not reading fine print and expecting warranties to be warranties. NOT TRICKS! Many, many people come through our kitchen as we entertain at a very high profile level. The kitchen is new, beautiful and expensive. I am a high end cabinetmaker (company owner) and recommend products and tradespeople all the time.The only downside to my personal kitchen is the "older" Kitchen Aide products and we let EVERYONE know the complete story. Seems others know of these issues as well. I remember the days when a Kitchen Aide dishwasher was a bit noisy but the best you could buy. We had those products for years and they were workhorses. Cleaned everything spotlessly. Now the slides are broken on mine and I've had to replace all the plastic brackets and hinges on the upper sliding trays. Junk.... made specifically to become obsolete and expensive to repair. This is your issue, not mine.

This fridge is a replacement that finally was granted after a year of trying to fix our original... We were thrilled to be approved for a replacement after several attempts over a years time to fix a slow freon leak. Luckily all the repairs and parts were covered under our warranty. Be sure to register your appliance and keep your proof of purchase :) We really like this fridge. Very few fit the spot in our kitchen these days. Our only complaints are how deep it is - things sometimes get lost in the back. This new fridge has drawers and shelves that seem to be a bit warped so things dont slide in and out easily. We should probably call about this. We like the freezer on the bottem with the ice maker as well as the water fill on the inside so the outside looks sleek and clean. MUST comment on how fantastic our delivery and installation guy was. Loved him! He was great with attention to detail and professionalism. BRAVO!

I purchased this fridge 4 years ago after reviewing all the major brands and reading numerous reviews on Consumer Reports. I really like it. The good: It is gorgeous and feels really premium. Kitchenaid's finishes are the best of all the major brands. It keeps food cold throughout the fridge and freezer, and it beeps if the fridge door is left open for too long (but don't worry—it waits long enough that it doesn't annoy you when you're using the fridge). It's also easy to move when necessary—it has rollers that allow you to pull it out/push it in without a visit from your local bodybuilders. It's also easy to clean if you have a spill, and the water filter is easy to access and replace at the top of the fridge. The meh (it's a short list): The slider control on the meat/veggie drawers is not so well-designed; it's easy to get it caught under the drawer lip when you push the drawer back in; I accidentally broke one of the slider controls because of this. The recommended refrigerator temperature of 38° was too cold for my fridge, and the water line for the dispenser started to freeze up. (That said, the water dispenser works well with the fridge set to 40°, and I've never had trouble with food spoilage, including milk, at that temperature.) One other consideration: The interior water dispenser requires some pressure to operate, which has been great for me; I've never accidentally triggered it. If you have young kids, though, they may have more trouble using it. My 9-year-old niece can use it, but she has to exert more effort to press the button while filling a glass of water. Ordinarily I wouldn't give an appliance 5 stars if I have *any* critiques, but considering I've had it for 4 years, my critiques are quite minor. When I bought this fridge, there was absolutely nothing at the same level for both quality and sleek styling. In fact, I liked it so much that I bought a matching dishwasher from Kitchenaid about a year ago.
