This chair is the perfect size and it's nicely made. You definitely sit on top of the cushion rather than sink into it, but I have relatives who prefer it that way. My only disappointment is that it's much darker than the computer image. In fact, it's darker than the picture I'm posting. It's more like a deep teal that a pale blue, which is how it's displayed.

I purchased this chair for my bedroom. I must say this isn't a bad piece of furniture. Nice quality, was a little bit darker then I thought but I don't care bc turns out it matched my drapes perfectly. I ordered this product on a Tuesday rec'd it unexpectedly on that Friday...amazing. I ordered another piece of furniture and I hope it's as amazing as this. Okay so I feel a little addicted now bc I'm now ordering linens and other items.

Lovely color....somewhere between a shade darker than a regular medium blue and dark aqua....if you can imagine what that would look like. That was my concern when I purchased the chair as all monitors pick it up differently. I read all the reviews, and called DL to see if I could get a better perspective on the true color. I guess this color is hard to explain to anyone so I guess you just have to take the plunge like I did. Although I would have preferred it more on the aqua color side, I am pleased. Looks very stylish, firm seating, and I love the tacks. Easy to put together. I have it in my, "soon to be office"...still decorating & painting or would have sent pic. I will only give this a 3 star on quality right now ONLY because I need to see how it wears, and the structure holds up. Very pretty looking chair, at a great price!!

I ordered 2 of the chairs for my parents' small apartment. The size of the chairs was perfect for their space and the color was exactly as pictured. The chairs are comfortable sitting chairs and make good occasional chairs or bedroom chairs. The nail head trim gives them a more expensive look. The legs have to be screwed in, but went in easily although it would be nice if they were labelled so you'd know exactly how to orient them. Overall we were all pleased with them, especially for the price.

First of all, very impressed with Designer Living after reading some terrible reviews. I ordered 2 chairs on a Sunday afternoon and had them by Thursday morning. They were well packaged and protected. I was happy that the chairs arrived mostly assembled, just had to screw on the legs. This makes the chairs pretty sturdy. You have to play with the legs a bit, though, to get them all even. The color of the chair is gorgeous, and exactly what I looking for. It looks pretty similar to the color in the picture. The fabric feels nice and the studding is done well. That said, this is definitely not a reading chair you can sink into, but it looks absolutely beautiful and fills in my space nicely.
