I believe the "velvet" fell off of this one! You can see how it's two different colors. You can even compare it to another customer's review with the same color. Her ottoman was delivered looking very velvety. It was also damaged on the bottom which wasn't a huge issue since it can't be seen.

I love the look of this ottoman, it matches the oversized chair in the Mackenzie line. It is though... a tad bit shorter, and it isn't as wide as the chair (the chair being 57 inches/ oversized. You can line it up by centering it, but my cat likes to sit right up against the window, so it will always be a tad off kilter in my house. Super cute though, veryyy firm. And the center has springs so it has a bit of give to it in that area.
