Comments about One80 Monaco Power Reclining Sofa:

Let me first say we picked this couch because we liked the look, the feel, the color, and the fact that it reclines. It was comfortable in the store and we spent a little more than we had planned, hoping it would last us longer than a less expensive, fabric option. I was wrong. The first problem was that the couch lost its shape after about a month. It isn't nearly as comfortable. Then, the finish started rubbing off, making it a completely different color than the rest of the couch. I called value city, very upset because I had only had the couch for less than a year. They sent a new couch to me. Now, that couch, which is less than 6 months old, is having sponge from underneath fall out continuously. I have blue sponge falling out whenever the couch is reclined. The loveseat, which is never used unless we have visitors, is starting to have spots rub off, exposing a different color. I am really upset with the quality of this couch. What a waste of thousands of dollars.

Comments about One80 Monaco Power Reclining Sofa:

Bought this loveseat and sofa just over a yr ago and the color is fading really bad, losing its shape, always sweeping up sponge from my sofa. Bought insurance but apparently it does not cover color, so beware when purchasing insurance for this ,definitely could have used the money to do my own repairs.jonesy

Comments about One80 Monaco Power Reclining Sofa:

This sofa looks good, but it isn't very comfortable for sitting. I too got this sofa and felt like the recliner part was sinking too far down from the middle cushion. I contacted the store and they picked up the sofa and sent out replacement. That sat okay for a couple of sits, but still the cushion seems to sink down farther than it should. I tend to now sit in the split between the cushions so I don't sink. I purchased two Monaco sofas, only one seems to sink further that it should. Visitors seem to like the sofa, so.... Anyway, my last leather sofas I had for over 20 years, these does not compare! I plan to only keep the Monaco sofas for maybe another year or two and then replace.

Comments about One80 Monaco Power Reclining Sofa:

My husband and I needed to replace our current leather reclining sofa. We tried this sofa and chair out in the store and loved it. The color was great, it had nice leather, and looked great. However, once we received the furniture and sat in it, it was obvious to me that something wasn't right with the sofa, especially the right hand seat. After a couple of days I found that the seat sank down really far and there was a good 5 or 6 inch gap between the back cushion and the seat cushion. My lower back hits the wood bar that goes across the lower back. I stopped in the store after 5 days and reported the problem. They sent out someone to look at the sofa and did agree something was wrong. We received a replacement sofa within 3 days. We had the replacement for 6 days and I am finding the same problem, maybe not quite as severe, but the same problem. After sitting in the sofa for a while, my lower back begins to bother me as there isn't any support there because of the gap between the seat and back. We do not notice this as much with the chair, only the sofa. My husband doesn't seem to have a problem with it because he tends to sit with is rear forward in the seat so he doesn't have the same problem. I tend to sit more upright. I think it is because I'm much shorter in the body than he is. Anyway, I am not a fan of this furniture due to the non-comfort factor. It does look beautiful however, but, that doesn't mean a lot if you don't like sitting in it. We are stuck with it now and will have to make due until we are ready to buy again. I'm not real happy about that.

Comments about One80 Monaco Power Reclining Sofa:

I use this as my primary seating. I would not recommend this. As much as I tried and wanted to love this couch all I can say is it looks good. You can not comfortably lie on this couch. Seems to me it is only made for sitting as it tends to make you fall back to the rear of the couch. Now if you are sitting it's not too bad but you seem to still fall towards the arm rests. It's a nice enough couch but I can't say it's good for an everyday one.
