Comments about Kroehler Mandalay II Sofa:

We only have two people who live in our home and are rarely sitting the couch. After getting up off of the couch, the cushions are sunk in and the fabric is baggy. The couch is so wide, so it really hurts your lower back as well. The only way to sit on the couch is with your legs up. After have the couch for only 2 months, the springs broke in two areas and we had to get it repaired. Would not recommend this couch!

Comments about Kroehler Mandalay II Sofa:

My husband had this set before we got married. When we combined households we decided to keep his set even though mine was brand new. This set is a bit oversized (which we LOVE) and it's super comfortable and cozy! This sofa and half love seat have stood the test of time! After almost 10 years it's starting to sink a bit in the middle (which can be easily fixed) and the accent pillows are a little fuzzy and worn. The main reason we purchased a new set is because it's now being made in a new color that will go awesome with the carpets in our new home and decor. We have found this set to be super easy to clean after the numerous times our little ones have spit up and spilled all kinds of who knows what on them! Even after years of family movie nights and company, the pillows are still fluffy and plush! This original set was purchased somewhere else at nearly twice the price. This is an amazing deal and just what we needed! We have been looking for a few months and never expected to find a set this inexpensive! It's like we get to keep the set we love but it's revamped! The Teal is beautiful and brightens up the room amazingly! We couldn't have found another set so perfect for our little family. Also, the old set was still in such good condition, it was gladly received when we gave it away. This is highly recommended for someone or a family who really uses their furniture and needs it to last! It's great quality for a really great price!

Comments about Kroehler Mandalay II Sofa:

when I received my furniture, I noticed on my brown pillows they stitched them with white thread and the thread was hanging from the pillows. They looked like they were just thrown together. At the bottom of the couch I can see the cushion, it was not stitched in that particular spot. I just think its sad that I spend my hard earned money on low quality furniture. I feel like I was cheated.

Comments about Kroehler Mandalay II Sofa:

I purchased this product in 10-19-13 along with the chair and a half and ottoman. I also bought what I thought was an extended warranty. When I shopped for this, I informed the salesperson I needed a fabric that was kid friendly. I called today, 01-26-15 and was told that the warranty I had was only good for a year. That the extended warranty was for accidental tears, rips and stains. That fraying of the fabric was not covered. The arms of this sofa have lost all comfort. It is like leaning against a 2x4. When they delivered it, I made a comment that the stitching looked stretched. I was told that would go away. It hasn't and has gotten worse. You can actually see foam padding in one area. Behind one of the cushions, you can put your hand in a gap in the fabric and feel the wood. You can also see where the fabric is starting to sag and see the wood structure. When you touch one of the arms on the chair and a half, the arm pops as if it is about to break. I can honestly say, the chair and a half is not used often and rarely on that side. The craftmanship of this furniture is not well. Almost all the toss pillows have split at the seams and are flat. It looks great at first and is comfortable. Doesn't last long. When I called, I was told I was basically out of luck. Fraying not covered and as far as the cushioning going away, arms being like 2x4s with no padding, fraying, etc., it was no longer covered. I am a single mom of 3 kids and honestly I should have called sooner. This problem just didn't happen and unfortunately with a busy schedule, I simply just kept putting this off. You would think that being 3 months away from warranty, they would still want to make it right. Lady on the phone could care less. I should also note, I didn't have pets on this furniture, no shoes were worn on it, etc. It was simply used to sit and watch TV on. Very disappointed that this is falling apart. I will end up having to replace this within the next year (will have had for maybe 2 years). I will never use ASF again after this. The extended warranty was sold to me with the idea it covered EVERYTHING! I guess I should have read the fine print. My mistake and poor customer service on ASF side. Also, I bought a sectional from them at the same time, that is hardly used, that also has problems. I bought around $3000 worth of furniture from them at one time and I virtually just threw that money away.
